Have you ever wanted to achieve something amazing...

Believing that one day we could achieve our goals is a key factor that shapes both our development and behaviour as children. Yet there are many children who are never given the opportunity to plan for their future, due to the restraints of poverty, the impact of disease, and a lack of education.

The wannabeamazin project is attempting to provide children with simple, enjoyable activities - the chance to write a story, play a musical instrument or attend a sports practice - in a structured environment where they are given the opportunity to develop.

In 2008 we established our first 'Community Resource Centre' in Uganda, providing children with a range of activities, from playing sports to reading and drawing. We also designed on-going programmes in creative studies, arts and sports; where children work towards attainable goals through structured, themed learning.

Simply by giving a child something to look forward to in this way, we aim to offer a future. A basic opportunity that will hopefully not only offer the chance to learn, but ultimately the chance to achieve.

...so what about it, want to help us do something amazing?
